Built in 1923, this theater was designed by Shanghai's architectural granddaddy Laszlo Hudec. Back then, it was called Ka'erdeng Da Xi Yuan. It changed its name to Changjiang Theatre in 1954 and finished a big renovation in 2016. It has two auditoriums, the Red Auditorium and the Black Auditorium, which can hold 230 and 100 audience members respectively.
