Liaoyuan Bilingual School has a team of teachers who are dedicated, caring, exemplary in character, and committed to serving. Most of the teaching staff come from well-known public and private schools in China, international schools for expatriates, as well as K12 schools in North America, Europe, and Australia, bringing with them rich experience in Chinese national curriculum, inquiry-based learning, bilingual education, and project-based teaching.
Currently, the elementary school section has 119 staff members, including 109 teachers, with 28 of them being foreign teachers, all holding a bachelor's degree or higher. The middle school section has 59 staff members, including 12 foreign teachers, all holding a bachelor's degree or higher, with 30% of them having a master's degree.
Liaoyuan Bilingual School places great importance on the continuous growth of every teacher, thus implementing a comprehensive and rich teacher training system. The school's training covers all teachers, while also providing specialized training for teachers in different sections and subjects, facilitating teachers' reasonable arrangements for learning and work. Both Chinese and foreign teachers throughout the school receive corresponding cultivation and development opportunities.
The "Extraordinary College" offers afternoon courses daily, allowing students to choose from dozens of courses based on their individual interests and hobbies. The six categories of the Extraordinary College's school-based characteristic courses cover: global perspectives, Chinese cultural heritage, humanities literacy, scientific exploration, life and health, and interpersonal relationships. The aim is to provide students with innovative and diverse high-quality interest-based courses.
