As China's first higher education institution of business studies, SUFE was established "to train and develop those talents who have guidance and organizational capabilities and can take the lead in industry and commerce." After completion of the program a student receives Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University (Recognized by China from the Chinese Ministry of Education), track Certificate from Webster University and Certificate of Completion from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE).
