Mazilu is a venerated, 100-year-old brand from Lanzhou, the capital of beef noodles. Now, after expanding to Japan and Singapore, they have come to Shanghai, with this relatively small shop on busy Wujiang Lu, right across the street from a Metro exit. On the menu are numerous thicknesses of noodles in an herbal beef broth, along with a few cold dishes as sides, some lamb skewers and a couple northwestern desserts. Noodles often sell-out by 7-8pm.
