This is possibly Shanghai's largest residential compound, with an estimated 40,000 residents and a large number of laowai who call it home. It's got a large swimming pool that's popular with expats in the summer, and has a lot of green and park space which make it very pet friendly. It's right on the edge of North Jing'an with a metro stop and close to elevated highways which make districts like Xujiahui accessible in 15 minutes. Jing'an People's Square, Xintiandi, all not too far.
