RED ROOM is a club inside the Julu 758 complex. The space is dark, red, and intimate, kept to a tight twenty booths and a maximum capacity of 250 people. They cater to a well-heeled crowd that knows and appreciates champagne, cognac and whiskies, and the the music is resolutely hip-hop (though they'll do a couple nights dedicated to disco or R&B and maybe even some EDM). Mostly international artists but also some artists from Shanghai's own home-grown hip-hop scene, with a regular rotation of guest MCs and live shows to keep things fresh. Good for private parties. Table reservations start at 3,000rmb, entrance is usually 100rmb and includes a drink.
