The Galaxy Hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms without being spectacular. It has 12 restaurants and bars (though we think they've gone for quantity over quality here); however, as it is located within walking distance of the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre, Shanghai Mart and Shanghai International Trade Centre, the hotel is perfect for business travelers visiting the city. Do not expect the glitz and glam of the Bund, but do expect reasonable prices.
