A few steps from Shanghai Library, the Cue is another brunch spot in central Xuhui. The place itself is bright and aesthetic, with mainly fusion plates that look nice, such as crayfish croissant, eggs Royale (on waffles instead of muffins) and salmon sandwiches (with a sweet taste). From 6pm, the Cue becomes a pub, serving their selection of alcoholic drinks. There is a lovely dining area on the balcony with a view of trees and houses.
