A five minutes' walk from IAPM, Forage is an eatery and wine bar hidden among quiet neighborhoods and boutique shops off Maoming Nan Lu, founded by three wine lovers: Fan Gao, Gill Jiang, and William Zhu. The place looks quite woody, with welcoming staff and a bit of atmosphere. Red wine, white wine, honey wine... whatever it is, you will have pick up yours in the front. A glass is not cheap, which costs around 100rmb, but it’s not that bad given the location and the environment. Their food menu is seasonal, and offers a mix of classic western appetizers like cheese and cold cuts, along with fusion dishes like lobster rice, Cinnamon rice cakes and more. Portion is small, but taste is quite good.
