    This Japanese restaurant in the heart of Jinqiao is one of the old venues of its kind, which has been open for nearly 20 years. The atmosphere is authentic, with classic decorations like a little bridge and curtain doors. It's a quiet venue with fast service. They have all types of Japanese delicacies from sushi to tempera. The fish is particularly fresh. The price point is mildly higher than the average Japanese restaurants (e.g. 15 rmb for one single sushi roll of either salmon or tuna), but the quality is high. Ideal dinner place for 4 people or less to enjoy the intimacy at its best. Plenty of outdoor seats, too.

    Good Japanese restaurant in the middle of Jinqiao (Pudong New District). This place was actually recommended to me by a Japanese gentlemen living in China for almost 8 years, and this is an appetizer of how good it is. They have all kinds of Japanese food: sushi, sashimi, BBQ, tempura etc. The atmosphere is authentic Japanese, with a little bridge at the entrance and curtain doors. The tables are very quiet and the service is fast. The restaurant does not target a high quantity of customer but they rather offer seats to few customers and provide excellent service. The fish is extremely fresh and they have also outdoor seats. Given the high level service and the extra fresh food, the price point is mildly higher than the average Japanese restaurants (e.g. 15 rmb for one single sushi roll of either salmon or tuna). I would recommend this place for quiet night and dinner for maximum 4 people in order to enjoy the intimacy at its best.
