A solid addition to Xintiandi's Italian scene, IL TEATRO a Venice inspired dining space serving both casual and upscale dishes. The first floor is more of an all-day cafe with outdoor seating, offering a variety of traditional delicacies, including cicchetti (AKA tapas from Venice / AKA mini sandwiches with various toppings), pizza, and grilled food, along with a couple of freshly made desserts - tiramisu, lemon tart and such. Pricing is similar to other restaurants in the compound, yet portions are quite generous. The second floor is a fine dining restaurant.
