Chaodian does straight, no-fuss Cantonese dim sum and banquet-style plates in a bright, mall-side dining room at MEET 678. All the tea-house staples show up: har gow (crystal shrimp dumplings), char-siu buns with a crisp shell and soft center, shu mai, egg tarts (32–58rmb). Bigger, made-to-order dishes round it out -- clay-pot rice, steamed fish fillet, roast duck, XO beef fried rice (48–168rmb). Weekdays pull office crowds on lunch break; weekends swing family-heavy. Evenings fill but stay calmer than the Jing’an circus. Mid-range pricing, solid portions, no surprises (in the good way).
