Pre-k (2 to 3 years) - Montessori Currulum

K1-K3 (3-6 years) - Inquiry Based Curriculum. The taught curriculum at Big Trees was designed using a "child-centered" educational methodolody. Through our curriculum, the children will explore a variety of themes in order to deepen their understanding of each topic and take learning from a local perspective to a global one. Within each unit of inquiry, the children will cover the following subject areas: communication,language and literacy, Mathematical, logical thinking,science and technology, creative arts ,music, personal,social, emotional and physical development.
