Originally a half-finished project that’s been through auctions, renovations, and the usual Shanghai plot twists, it’s now a mix of small goods stalls, antiques, random collectibles, and everyday clutter. The main draw is up on the fourth floor, where a weekend second-hand book market has quietly become one of the last of its kind in central Shanghai, filling the space with old paperbacks, out-of-print finds, calligraphy, and the occasional unexpected gem. It’s not polished, and that’s kind of the point—more rummage than retail, especially on Sunday mornings when things get busiest.
