Fun and open late, this neighborhood Xinjiang bbq spot ("Kewap" is the Uyghur word for kebab) on Xingfu Lu serves up some solid skewers of lamb, veg, beef, chicken, and more, including grilled naang with cumin and chili. Run by a local DJ who is often there hanging out and passing out shots, it's a bit of a party spot as well. They've got cheap beers and g&t's, and they often have people in there playing DJ sets of hip hop, funk, and soul. It's a great spot to come by on a warm night and chill inside or out on the steps or little patio, and it often attracts spillover from the club next door. It's a ideal place for a last stop or refuel on the weekend.
