Typical spend

The typical spend is an editorial estimate of what most guests will spend per person at this venue. It’s meant to give you a quick idea of how expensive a place feels, not an exact bill. We base this on:

  • public menus and dish prices
  • average spend data from Dianping
  • our team’s editorial judgment

For restaurants, this usually means: one main dish + one drink per person.
For bars: around two drinks per person.

  • $ - Under 100 RMB/pp
  • $$ - 100-200 RMB/pp
  • $$$ - 200-500 RMB/pp
  • $$$$ - 500+ RMB/pp

Disclaimer: Prices can vary depending on what you order, promotions, and menu changes. This is a guide, not a guarantee.

Located just east of Zhongshan Park on Changning Lu, this cheap and excellent 24/7 beef noodle spot has been open for over 20 years, serving a short menu of just a few items: beef noodles (dry or with soup), beef intestines (as a side or with noodles), congyou banmian (scallion oil dry nodles), and sliced beef. The pro move here is to get the congyou banmian, then add a side of beef and a side of soup and mix as you like. The broth is polarizing. Some say it’s too salty, that there’s too much MSG… whatever. We're fans, and the noodles themselves are undeniable, with just the right amount of bite to them. As far as 24/7 noodle joints in town, Ding Te Le is Huangpu’s supreme post-clubbing dining destination, and this is the king of Changning District. It’s a spot where the club kids and nightlife workers often end up at 4am or 5am after the club lights come on and the sun turns on. And like Ding Te Le, the noodles are good enough to eat at any hour of the day, in any state. Look for the red sign with 长宁拉面 in white text – there's no English signage.
