Xuhui West Bund Baseball Park is a temporary outdoor baseball stadium built beside the Huangpu River for the Chinese Professional Baseball (CPB) season. The ballpark has an open-air setup with views of the river and Xupu Bridge, while game days bring a distinctly East Asian baseball atmosphere with cheer squads, coordinated chants, loud music, mascots, food stalls and plenty of merch. The stadium hosts Shanghai Orcas games as well as visiting teams from across China, with players from Greater China, East Asia and overseas. It’s a little out of the way, but the riverside setting and lively game-day atmosphere make it more of an evening outing than just a place to watch baseball.
