A tribute to Charlie Chaplin, this is the first-floor lounge of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Decades ago, Charlie's was one of the few bars in town where Westerners could go tie one on. This has earned a special spot in the heart of many an old China Hand. Today the clientele is largely hotel guests, but a daily happy hour is still draw to outsiders.
