Founded in 1999, Chinese-owned Eastlink was one of the first galleries in Shanghai and pioneer gallery at Moganshan Lu where it quickly established a critically acclaimed reputation. The gallery's program of exhibitions reflects its commitment to supporting both emerging and established artists. Its 900 square meters offer a new platform for promoting Chinese Contemporary, somewhere between museum and commercial gallery. The pivotal exhibition "Fuck Off" was held here in 2000.
