Maggie's 5, also known as Xijiao Wu Hao, is a very upscale restaurant on the grounds of Hongqiao's State Guest Hotel. The decor is an unbelievably gauche European fantasy, full of murals on walls, double-vaulted ceilings, and completely over-the-top table and room settings. Gov't officials and rich businessmen are the main clientele, but the cooking, courtesy of a highly decorated Chinese chef, is top-notch.
