Test Prep: SAT, ACT, SSAT, SCAT, AP/IB subjects Language Arts (G3-G11) - The aim of this program is to lay down a solid foundation on which students can build and develop their all-important language skills. Global Awareness & Debate (G6-G8) - This program will teach students a step-by-step approach to debating current global issues, such as the economy, education, the environment, etc. Students will conduct thorough research and cite credible sources in order to develop well-reasoned and well-organized arguments. The course is designed to stimulate critical thinking. American History (G6-G8) - With the aim of providing middle schoolers with an overall understanding of American history, we opened this new course early this year. This 30-hour course is a lighter version of the AP US History Curriculum. It focuses on the highlights of American history without dwelling on the minutiae. European History (G9-G10) - This 30-hour course covers over 500 years of European history and is designed for high school students, who are interested in, or planning to take, AP History classes in the near future. Apart from studying historical events, the course focuses on analytical reasoning and argumentative writing.
