Consistently excellent yakitori spot in Gubei that's been open and popular with the Japanese community since 2008. This place has soul. Good ingredients, comfortable environment, and Japanese-standard service (owner takes orders himself). You can't really go wrong here, but standouts include the mushrooms, chicken balls, cartilage skewers, fish, pork stuffed green pepper, and kidneys. The draft Kirin is cheap and cold, but prepare to spend at least 400rmb if you and a friend want to try a bunch of items from the grill, and possibly more.
