In Japan, Daikichi is a corporate yakitori chain with 1,000+ branches. In Shanghai, there's just two, and they both excellent yakitori, plus grilled ox-tongue, grilled rice balls, and some grilled vegetables. Atmosphere is, depending on your point of view, clean and bright, or sterile and corporate, though the food is anything but cookie-cutter.
