Part of the Lapis 818 cluster of restaurants on the sixth floor of Mall 818, The Mountain ticks the Taiwan box. On the menu you'll find that characteristically pan-Chinese cuisine from across the Strait with notable classics like stir-fried beef with lily bulbs and youtiao (a.k.a. Chinese doughnuts), shacha chicken with tofu, as well as oyster and pickled radish omelets. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Taiwanese restaurant without a baobing, or shaved ice, selection. Most of the standards are available: red bean, mung bean, peanut, mango, etc.
