Ensconced among an eclectic selection of restaurants in the 56 Gourmet Zone, Monsoon bills itself as serving Yunnan and Thai cuisine. Truth be told, the menu consists mostly of the latter and it is mediocre at best. The decor riffs off of traditional Thai aesthetics, dark timbers, a loft ceiling with exposed rafters, low tables and those signature monkuan cushions. In the evening time its quite popular with local twenty-somethings who like a good dice game after dinner.
