If it weren't for unwitting tourists, Always Cafe would have gone out of business years ago. The menu comprises heavily localized versions of "International" cuisine -- everything from burgers and spaghetti Bolognese to Malaysian laksa. It's convenient location between Shanghai Center and Jing'an temple has long since been outpaced by a proliferation of other decent options in the area.
