Disappointing cocktail bar on the Wuding / Jiaozhou strip. The menu is large and inventive, but not in a good way. Lots of syrups, tea-extracts and fruit go into a lot of the cocktails (most are 55rmb), but they're not great. The decor is wild but up close it's tacky -- fake books and mismatched chairs: Regency, recreated in a Chinese factory. The bar staff are helpful but it doesn't make up for the drinks. Too sweet. Too gimmicky. Lacking in style, strength and flavor. Go next door to cheap Stagiaires for beer, or pricer but dramatically better cocktails at Lab.
