It's almost the weekend once more and there are plenty of good community driven events to check out. WLead an organization all about empowering women leaders in education will be hosting it's first Shanghai event. Also, SCC-MADNESS is hosting their first 'art battle.' Plus Green Initiatives dips into education, a market with local wares and more.

SCC-MADNESS is hosting the first Art Battle International event in China. There'll be a live painting competition showcasing local artists and music from DJ TOY. Also, all artwork will also be available for a silent auction. One ticket includes two drinks, a DumbØ burrito, and one-day use of the WeWork space. 90rmb with RSVP via WeChat and 120rmb at the door. Snap! is live improv comedy born and bred right here in Shanghai with international audiences in mind. Happy hour drinks promised, and 'pay what you want' to get in, kicks off at 8.30pm. Green Initiatives' Green Drinks monthly forum this month focuses in on problems in education this month. Particularly what orgs are already out there and how can students to get involved, are there any start-ups in this space? Register before for 50rmb, at the door 70rmb, for students 20rmb. A little more Active Shanghai, but Lizzy's All Natural is turning 3 and so Anken is offering free workouts on Sunday and Lizzy'll have free meditation class all week May 7-11.
