At 705 sqm, with a 4.8m ceiling and capacity for up to 720 guests, it can accommodate large dinners, award ceremonies and themed parties. For a smaller event, there are two other options. The 250 sqm Huangpu Ballroom has a separate pre-function area, natural daylight and views of the Huangpu River, making it suitable for mid-sized company dinners or meetings that turn into evening receptions. The 320 sqm Riverfront Room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river and North Bund, as well as private elevator access — a more intimate setting for executive dinners or entertaining clients.

There's also the Yangzi Foyer, which can be used for guest registration, welcome drinks and pre-dinner mingling before everyone moves into the main event space.

What's Included in the Package?

The starting package costs rmb 4,888 net per table of 10. It includes a Chinese or Western set menu selected by the executive chef, a 30-minute pre-dinner reception with soft drinks and assorted nuts, and three hours of free-flow soft drinks, orange juice and local beer. Floral table centrepieces, complimentary parking and use of a projector and screen are also included.

For companies that want to make more of the evening, the hotel has several additional offers for new and returning clients.

For new clients:

• Book six tables or more in the Riverfront Room or Huangpu Ballroom to receive complimentary use of a 15 sqm LED screen.
• Add rmb 88 for a signature cocktail at Havana Bar.

Taking the Party onto the Huangpu River

A ballroom isn't the only option. For companies looking for something different from the usual annual dinner, the hotel also offers bespoke yacht experiences. The river provides a different setting for a team celebration or client gathering, particularly in the evening.

The yacht offer is available for banquets with spending of rmb 150,000 or more, and includes a one-hour experience for up to 10 guests. Companies interested in this option should contact the hotel's banquet team to discuss arrangements.
