JZ Festival Is Back For Six Days Over October Holiday!

Good news for those staying in Shanghai.

Hey, good news if you're staying in town for the holidays: the JZ Festival is going to take place from October 1 to the 6th. Obviously no big international acts this year but it's a varied lineup of hip hop, funk, swing, blue grass, and flamenco. Opening night looks especially interesting with Susie Wu doing a tribute to Amy Winehouse, Alec Haavik and The Shanghai Shindiggers doing their special swing and Guangdong hip-hop group Project Ace. Due to COVID and social distancing, the festival is all indoors this year, at three different venues: JZ Club at Found 158, JZ Live in Hongqiao, and Wooden Box on Qinghai Lu.
