Shanghai welcomes the return of its annual citywide floral celebration with the 2026 Shanghai International Flower Show, running from April 18 to May 10 across two main venues and ten satellite locations. This year’s theme, “Shanghai In Bloom, Instant Wonder,” spreads seasonal floral installations, themed gardens, and public art across the city. The Shanghai Botanical Garden features over 40 curated flower landscapes and 400+ plant varieties, alongside interactive ecological displays and exhibitions. In Huangpu, Xintiandi and Gucheng Park transform into large-scale garden spaces with dozens of themed installations and floral window displays, while additional programs take place across the district. Ten other locations, including Pudong, Xuhui, Jing’an, Changning, Fengxian, Fuxing Island, Lingang, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Binjiang Forest Park, and Gongqing Forest Park, extend the festival citywide, turning Shanghai into a continuous spring landscape.
