Laid-back Yongkang Lu craft beer spot Zapfler, a.k.a. The Bearded Bear, has a Super Smash Bro's night on Wednesdays. They'll have at least two TVs with the Wii and N64 versions going from 7.30pm until late. On tournament nights, it's 50rmb to get in and that includes one beer. On regular nights, it's free entry. They've also got a unlimited pizza deal for 80rmb and a free-flow craft beer deal for 100rmb. Games go for eight minutes, with three stocks and no items. This might become a weekly event if these go well. Looks like a good chance to meet other gamers, and Zapfler is always worth stopping in for a chat with the affable yeti owner Foste. Note: the night alternates between more serious tournament nights, and more laid-back game nights.
