ShanghART's Moganshan Lu spot hosts Beijing-born artist Zhu Jia's Critical Pervasion, a large-scale solo featuring new works and recent video art pieces. An early pioneer of the medium in China - also photography - he's known for his experimental approach to conceptual art. Here, he looks to the fleeting, temporary nature of 'normality' in various aspects of daily life, including politics. By playing on perspectives, Zhu Jia invokes a sense of awkwardness in viewers as he broaches taboos. Opens on November 4 from 4pm through 6pm.
