The Grand Hyatt in the Jin Mao Tower is dropping 8,000 balloons at midnight on New Year's. Their NYE party features an 11 member rock'n'funk soul ensemble and a brass band. You can watch the balloon drop from their 33 story atrium. They're billing it as the largest balloon drop in the city. Price is 418rmb, and that comes with free-flow champagne. Goes from 9pm-12.30am.
