About

Since 1895, Swan Lake has won its accolade as one of the greatest ballets in world history, easily in the top tier of the classical ballet repertoire. Shanghai Ballet has collaborated for several years with Derek Deane, former Artistic Director at English National Ballet, as Choreographer of this "Grand Version" of Swan Lake. This new production puts together the largest group sequence in the performance's history, featuring an unprecedented corps de ballet with double the number of dancers in previous presentations.
