In 2019, the young pianist Yin Cunmo attracted attention with his overwhelming victory at the Beethoven International Piano Competition in Bonn, Germany. Two years later, Yin Cunmo won the third prize and the Audience Award of the 16th Rubinstein International Piano Competition, becoming the first winner from mainland China since 1983, breaking the record that Chinese people have not won this award in nearly 40 years record. For one night only, he’s performing a solo recital of some classic pieces from Beethoven (Piano Sonata No. 3 in C major; Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, "Passionate”; Piano Sonata No.23 in F Minor “Appassionata”) and Liszt (Piano Sonata in B Minor, S. 178).
