The exhibition curated a selection of works by six prominent modern art masters of the 20th century: Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Henri Matisse, Alberto Giacometti, Paul Cézanne, and Georges Braque. Nearly a hundred representative works across various mediums such as painting, sculpture, and paper-cutting are encompassed in this exhibition. As the third stop of the international touring exhibition of the Collection of Museum Berggruen, this exhibition distinguishes itself from the previous displays in Tokyo and Osaka. For the first time, it follows a chronological structure aligned with the creation timeline of the works, presenting visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the art masters' creative journeys. It vividly depicts the development of modernism encompassing movements such as Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism, and more, while presenting the dynamic landscape of artistic innovation that characterized the first half of the 20th century.
