The Montreux Jazz Festival China 2024 is set to bring a musical extravaganza to the Suzhou Culture and Arts Center from October 25 to 27. This globally renowned festival will feature a diverse lineup, including “Disco Queen” pop singer-songwriter Rose Zhang from China, Swiss techno band Stevans, Danish bassist Ida Nielsen, recognized as one of the top ten bassists worldwide, and the iconic Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, boasting six Grammy Awards and seventeen nominations.
The festival lineup comprises 21 bands, with 14 international acts, 9 of which are making their debut in China. Over 120 musicians from 11 countries and regions—such as Austria, the United States, Belgium, Denmark, Indonesia, Switzerland, Norway, Japan, France, Cuba, and Taiwan—will showcase a variety of genres. Attendees can look forward to an eclectic mix, blending Chinese folk with Western music styles, including pop, rock, funk, jazz, electronic jazz, experimental music, R&B, techno, soul, and classical fusion jazz.
Festival-goers can purchase single-day or three-day passes, granting access to two stages: the Dadao Theatre and the Lakeside Stage, where performances will be held across the weekend.
