Held at Bund 33, "ART SHANGHAI: European National Treasures" has launched a new special project - the Réponse de Femmes: Chinese-French Women's Cinema, one of the largest film documents and film-related exhibitions in the world. The exhibition delves into the rich tapestry of over a century of cinematic history. In particular, it draws a connection between the evolution of women's cinema in France – the birthplace of world cinema – and the dynamic exploration and contemporary storytelling found in Chinese women's cinema. The exhibition illuminates the pivotal experiments, inquiries, and accomplishments that women have contributed to the world of cinema since its inception in the 1890s.
