About

Award-winning choreographer Song Xinxin’s Park of Allures returns in 2025 with an upgraded immersive experience. Blurring the lines between audience and performer, this dystopian yet dazzling theatrical playground invites you to step onstage, get lost in its surreal world, and become part of the show. Expect movement, mystery, and a stage that transforms right before your eyes.

A critically acclaimed production returns for an all-new residency!

For those in need of something fresh, they have found a theater and built a park.
Welcome to Park of Allures—a dystopian, colorful, and earnestly beautiful space.
Inside, visitors will discover the Secret Garden, Growth Island, Ghostly Path, Candy Camp, and the Flying Hill.
The creators invite audiences to see and be seen, alongside the many details of the park.

The figures encountered here may not align with expectations—there may be moments of dizziness, but it’s only temporary.
When the park transforms into a wonderland, beware—because cruelty often hides within such enchanted places.
This is a public space where all visitors become part of its operational mechanism. Being observed is entirely normal.
The body itself is a state of being. This place is like the world, yet unlike it. It doesn’t have to conform to the world—it exists as its own reality.

P.S. In the face of unforeseen circumstances, the park continues to operate as usual—because everything has already been pre-designed.

In 2024, Park of Allures debuted to rave reviews from audiences. Now, in 2025, this acclaimed production returns with an upgraded experience.

Extended Runtime and Enhanced Interaction—Refined and Expanded!

"We want to see and be seen, alongside every other detail."
—Creators Song Xinxin & Wang Shuhuan

The upgraded version extends the runtime from 75 minutes to approximately 80–90 minutes, with slight variations depending on how the performance unfolds. Interaction with the audience has also been heightened. Building upon the previous run, the creators have further refined the choreography, transitions, and audience engagement—ensuring that every spectator steps into the performance.

—From the script of Park of Allures

Who sits stiffly in a park, pretending to be composed? Park of Allures is relaxed, intimate, a space for conversation and movement. It features sparkling tears, blinding moonlight, green grass, an inexplicable whiteboard, and a collaged world map.

Audiences don’t just sit back and observe from afar—they are invited to gather on the stage. This park belongs to both the performers and the audience. Look around, brainstorm, and witness the unfolding of the world within the park.

Theater Taken to Its Limits—A Stage Design That Leaves Audiences in Awe

"The theater unfurls before us like a magnificent living creature."
—Audience review by Yu Yingsu Ringo

Some have described this work as “a love letter to theater,” calling it a masterclass in using the full potential of theatrical space. Music, lighting, stage design, multimedia elements, and even AI serve as tools for the creators, who have crafted a breathtaking world with minimal resources.

Here, the stage becomes an audience seat, and the audience seating unexpectedly transforms into part of the performance. Even the spectators themselves become performers—in ways they never anticipated.

A Theatrical Utopia in Full Bloom—An Explosion of Possibilities

"Standing atop Park of Allures, one sees people, open fields, stars, and countless details."
—From the script of Park of Allures

What won’t happen today? No one can say for sure. Once the park opens, its visitors become an integral part of it. The creators won’t dictate everything—audiences choose how the performance unfolds. Playful, serious, absurd, dynamic, uproarious, unsettling—the tone is entirely up to them.

As the park sheds its three layers of disguise, photography and filming are encouraged. This is a collaborative creation—a whimsical, collaged wonderland born from everyday fragments. Together, the creators and the audience will complete this theatrical utopia’s grand explosion.
