Co-organized by PSA and M+, this landmark exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of architect I. M. Pei in mainland China. Featuring over 400 works—including architectural drawings, models, photographs, videos, and archival materials—the exhibition traces Pei’s extraordinary seven-decade career across six thematic sections. It highlights his iconic projects such as the Louvre Pyramid, Suzhou Museum, and Bank of China Tower, while also revisiting his formative years in Shanghai and Suzhou. Through cross-cultural reflections and material innovations, the exhibition offers deep insight into how Pei’s architecture became a mirror of life itself.
