Born into classical guitar royalty, Pepe Romero is the son of maestro Celedonio Romero and a member of the legendary Romero Quartet (founded 1960). Dubbed the “Royal Family of Guitar” in PBS and German TV documentaries, the Romeros received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 for their unparalleled contributions to music.

Debuting at age 7, Pepe has since performed thousands of concerts worldwide—both as a soloist and with the Quartet—and recorded over 60 albums, including 20 concertos with Sir Neville Marriner’s Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
