Norwegian pop star Sigrid keeps it simple—jeans, a T-shirt, and a voice that can fill a festival field. From winning BBC’s Sound of 2018 to touring with Maroon 5 and dropping her new single Jellyfish, she’s built a career on raw energy and realness. Expect a show that’s both intimate and electric.

Sigrid is all about passion without pretense. With her trademark jeans-and-T-shirt style, she steps onstage with a natural energy that feels both effortless and unstoppable. Her raspy yet powerful voice—often compared to the force of a Norwegian waterfall—has carried her from small-town beginnings to some of the world’s biggest festival stages.

Born in Ålesund in 1996, Sigrid grew up surrounded by music at home and the dramatic landscapes of Norway outside. At 16, she wrote her first original song Sun, which quickly gained radio play. By 2017, she was signed to Island Records, releasing her debut EP Don’t Kill My Vibe, an anthem of defiance that put her on the international map.

Her breakout came in 2018 when she won the BBC’s Sound of 2018 award—previously given to Adele and Sam Smith. Soon she was performing at Glastonbury, Reading, Roskilde, and other major European festivals, earning praise from The Guardian, who predicted she could one day headline Glastonbury.

Her debut album Sucker Punch (2019) hit No.1 in Norway and reached the UK Top 5, leading to tours with Maroon 5 and George Ezra, as well as her own headline runs. In 2022, she returned with her second album How to Let Go, featuring the disco-tinged self-acceptance anthem Mirror.

Through it all, she’s stayed true to her minimalist style—jeans, sneakers, and natural energy—choosing authenticity over spectacle. That honesty has earned her fans worldwide, from Ed Sheeran (who recently praised her after sharing the stage) to listeners who connect deeply with her lyrics.

Now in 2025, Sigrid is entering a new phase with Jellyfish, the lead single from her upcoming third album There’s Always More That I Could Say (out October 24). Blending early-2000s indie-pop nostalgia with themes of friendship and connection, it’s a lighter, joyful turn in her music. Live, she moves with the rhythm like a jellyfish drifting underwater, drawing the whole crowd into the same dreamlike motion.

On stage, Sigrid promises one thing: “I give everything I have. If you come to a show, you’ll leave with an unforgettable memory.”
