Yao Jing, currently a flute instructor at the Shanghai University School of Music, serves as guest principal flutist for the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra and the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra. She is also a council member of the Wind Instrument Committee of the Shanghai Musicians Association, former associate principal flutist of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, guest principal flutist of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and a former distinguished expert under the Shanghai Conservatory of Music’s Flute Excellence Program.
