Kinetic sculptures and slow, deliberate movement define this large-scale solo presentation by Korean artist Choe U-Ram at Yuz Museum. Known for his long-running Anima-Machines series, Choe combines mechanical engineering with organic rhythms to create works that feel somewhere between living organisms and speculative machines. Gears turn, parts breathe, and polished metal forms hint at cycles of desire, labor, power, and survival, without spelling anything out too clearly. Spanning works from the 1990s to recent large installations, the show frames technology not as spectacle but as a lens for thinking about human instincts and modern anxieties, rewarding viewers who are willing to slow down and watch things unfold.
