Opening at Minsheng Art Museum on December 20, this exhibition brings together contemporary Swiss comic art across nearly 500 works by 22 artists. Curated by Eleonora Bitterli and presented with the Swiss Embassy in China and Fumetto Comic Festival Luzern, the exhibition explores how comics intersect with other media—from painting and animation to sculpture and sound—expanding the form beyond traditional page-based storytelling. Organized into six thematic sections—Courage, Identity, History & Memory, Dreams & Beyond, Sci-Fi, and Society—it highlights both personal experiences and broader cultural narratives. Large-scale installations, playful three-dimensional scenes, and interactive translation cards encourage visitors to linger, explore, and rethink comics as a form of contemporary visual art, with additional reading areas and outdoor sculptures extending the experience into the city.
