Shy People marks its sixth anniversary in Shanghai with a club night that brings together two DJs whose paths have moved between underground scenes and international dance floors. Kim Ann Foxman, once fronting Hercules and Love Affair, now focuses on DJ sets shaped by ’90s rave energy, disco, and house, informed by years spent in New York and Brooklyn club culture. Sharing the booth is Cora, a Chengdu-born DJ who has worked her way from China’s underground to Berlin, becoming the first Chinese DJ to play Berghain’s Klubnacht.
