Active since the mid-1990s, YangBing is a central figure in the development of China’s underground electronic music scene, having moved from early DJ work in Beijing’s commercial bars to organizing some of the city’s first rave-style parties at a time when no dedicated platform existed. His influence later extended to landmark moments such as the Great Wall parties, international appearances in Europe, the founding of White Rabbit Club in 2008, and the production of the documentary Break The Wall, which traces two decades of local electronic music culture. This late-night lineup at Dirty House places him alongside Man Sun Lui, a long-running techno promoter and club founder, as well as Whysee and MegaWatts, for a night focused on house and techno rather than spectacle.
