The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band makes their first China tour in 2026, bringing their signature “modern Molam” sound that blends traditional Thai folk music with funk, electronic, and psychedelic grooves. This is a high-energy live performance rooted in ritual-like rhythms and built for the dancefloor.
The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band is a Thai psychedelic music group known for reimagining “Molam,” a traditional folk music style from Northeast Thailand and Laos. Their sound merges ancient instruments with modern club energy, creating a hybrid live experience that sits between cultural ritual and dancefloor performance.

The 2026 China tour marks their first-ever performances in the country. The show features a six-piece lineup combining traditional instruments like the khaen (Thai bamboo mouth organ) and phin (Thai string instrument) with bass, electric guitar, drums, and percussion. The result is a layered sound that moves between hypnotic folk textures and heavy groove-driven rhythms.

Their music draws from three studio albums — 21st Century Molam, Planet Lam, and Araya Lam — each expanding their fusion of traditional Thai sound and contemporary global music styles.

The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band is a six-member ensemble formed by musicians rooted in Thailand’s Molam tradition and contemporary international music scenes.
The group’s core identity lies in its instrumentation:
Their music has also reached global mainstream audiences, with tracks featured in HBO’s acclaimed series The White Lotus Season 3 (Thailand), adding further international recognition to their work.

Together, they create a live performance system that blends folk tradition with modern electronic and psychedelic influences.
This is the band’s first China tour, offering audiences a chance to experience Molam music reimagined for contemporary live club culture. The performance is built for physical response rather than passive listening, with rhythms designed for dancing and immersive sound exploration.
It is especially suited for audiences interested in global fusion music, live electronic performance, and high-energy psychedelic groove-based concerts.
