VOGUE’s large-scale immersive exhibition makes its Asia debut in Shanghai, tracing the evolution of the fashion runway from closed salon presentations to global cultural spectacles. Developed with deep involvement from Anna Wintour and the VOGUE editorial team, the experience draws on rare archival material spanning more than a century, using large-format projection, sound, and spatial design to recreate some of fashion history’s most talked-about shows. Narration is provided by Cate Blanchett in the original English version, with a Chinese dub by Zhu Zhu. Rather than focusing purely on clothes, the exhibition looks at how designers, staging, and spectacle have shaped the runway into a medium for storytelling, experimentation, and cultural commentary.
